Thanks very much Mike , no I wasn’t aware of the Victorian thing. but thanks to you I do now, the highland cattle are a very impressive animal and it was great to see them and the great egret and little egrets in the trees albeit a long way away.

I love seeing them, preferably in a true wild environment, not a lush green field, and managed to get a few decent photos while in Scotland back in May. The links below show one adult and two photos of the same calf. I don't think the adult was mum, she was at the opposite end of the field, but made for a nice photo irrespective.
