Another Nice morning

And anyone would think you have a thing about Moorhen juveniles lol

Yes, you don’t come across Cattle Egret trees that often do you. or the bendy horn cows Lol
It was a nice morning and although the great egret and the cattle egrets were a long way away
You can still see what they were. As for the moorhen I liked the nest it was in, It was so close to the bank
It’s a dipping pond for the children and they were sweeping there fish nets in the water and the moorhen
Just ignored them and was getting on as if nobody was there.

Nice to see the cattle egrets, and in trees as well!

I love the highland cattle, those and the old long horn cattle are my favourite.

Did you know that naturally highland cattle are dark haired, not brown?

That was I understand a Victorian thing to breed brown haired highland cattle.

Oh what the Victorians did for us, or should that be spoilt.....

Thanks very much Mike , no I wasn’t aware of the Victorian thing. but thanks to you I do now, the highland cattle are a very impressive animal and it was great to see them and the great egret and little egrets in the trees albeit a long way away.

Only wee RRB chirping about this morning so far ILR...got a 12 hour wait for my fab foxes but they are worth it lol
