I agree with you SnappyMac, I saw one yesterday, it was 300m away with the Binoculars and no it didn't want to come any closer Lol

How was it holding the binoculars??

you're certainly getting some lovely sightings and species including the Kingie and young Nuthatch; also nice to see so many butterflies around.

Nice photos of the nuttie, and even the kingie photos are very good.

I'm sure there must be something in kingie breeding that makes them maintain that awkward distance and keep a leaf of branch between us  photographers and them....   

Yes mike I think it’s called survival like most wildlife, we just get lucky sometimes when they haven’t seen us.
