Wow you certainly done well with all your Dragonflies and Damselflies ..Mr chaffi always poses lovely ...and who doesn't love gentle giant Mr or Mrs Crow.

Yes I did ILR but not until after 4 when work was done , not very sunny but just happy to be out exploring and exercising ;-)
Will try throw together some pics for a post if they are passable lol

Another super set ILR. I managed to get out too, after the rain, at 3ish. Not a lot about, as it was a steady breeze blowing too, but as Linda said, just nice to be out

Thanks PB Glad you liked them, I shall post the last one No 4 from Fairburn Ings tonight.
You get the odd day where there is not a lot to photograph but your both right its just nice to be out and about and some days when you havent seen a thing all of a sudden you get a surprise, like I experienced a couple of years ago as i was approaching a tree a Barn Owl flew out of the tree then proceeded to hunt for food I managed to get a few photos of it and that just made the day worthwhile.
A red letter day PB next time you go out ? I cant promise a Barn Owl though. Lol

Lovely photos ILR. I particularly like the ones of the Chaffinches and the Brimstone. Glad you enjoyed your trip out. As you say even when there is nothing to see, it's nice to get out in the fresh air :-)
