Moon and sunsets

lovely photos ILR, such a beautiful sunset and glorious colours.

Thank you Hazel I took the photos of the sunset and the moon the same evening at a spot 5 minutes away from my home where I bird watch sometimes. I was hoping to see a Barn owl that I once saw one afternoon but it was not to be, but that would have been the icing on the cake had I seen one, maybe next time ?

Lovely pics ILR...Nice to see you posting again....I tried to get the moon last night about midnight but too may trees to get a clear view.....has been some glorious sunsets lately though ;-)

Thanks Linda it’s always nice to get a nice sunset and the moon on a clear night. I have been out and about so I have a few outings to post. I just thought I would start of with these.

Cracking photos ILR, and the supermoon for many has been very unobstructed, for a change.

incidentally, I understand that will be the last supermoon of 2022, but we'll have some to look forward to in 2023.
