Often heard the plop of a water vole jumping into the water but was finally able to get a few half decent shots of one this week, together with a couple of hares on the same walk. Then, for comparison, yesterday spotted this bank vole emerging from a wall where I've often seen one before.
Well done on the water vole photos, and so clear as well, likewise the hare photos.
