Magpie without a Tail

A Magpie without a Tail

  • It is quite possibly a juvenile magpie as they will have shorter tails; white is usually a bit duller too, We have several juveniles around with "stubby" tails at this time of year.

  • A juvenile bird was my first thought Hazel. This is the time of year when, as Robbo hinted on another thread when most of the strange birds we see are juveniles of species we see every day.
