Iv had a very interesting day today there was 2 Moths out in the rain and then later I found one in a more unexpected place- under the table. how did I find it under the table you ask? Well Some great Tits were calling in the tree and I didn’t want to get in the way since I was near the Bird table and bird bath area looking for insects. Which is probably one of the things they were looking for too. I bent down low and snuck under the garden table through a gap when They wernt looking and I recorded there call but as soon as I crawled under the table there was a moth 1 meter from my arm perched on the chair leg two moths were resting in the garden but I also saw another one so I have seen 3 Moths in the garden today
First and foremost we have a leaf roller Moth. resting with Antennaes tucked in
Then we have another Moth This moth didn’t stay still for long but he was perched on my
Wildflower.
then after that we have this i Moth This guy took to perching with the Spiders and spider webs under the table
Then we have our good old Bumblebees
They were very busy after the rained stoped
