Another Trip to the river Part 2

Correct me if i am wrong. i think this is a stock dove ? either way its come down for a drink

Mum and baby seem to be enjoying thereselves

A moorhen Investigating its new perch

Not sure if they will go down the weir or not ?

The same stock dove still waiting to have a drink

And Mrs Mallard thought she would pass by too

And now Mum and Dad Moorhen pass by

He doesn't fancy a trip down the weir

To Finnish off with a grey Heron

    It was named after a suberb in leeds, Headingley, I lived around a mile away and used to go to the ground to watch
    Fred Trueman and the rest of the team. I also collected all the bottles in the ground and returned them, I cant remember how much we got for each bottle but it was a nice addition to my pocket money at the time. I was not only a cricket fan i used to watch the great Leeds United in the Don Revie Years and i used to get in the ground for free as i sold the golden goal tickets which enabled me into the ground to watch the games. Happy Times PB.

    Sorry ILR...just catching up on you River visit...back to front ofcourse....certainly a busy river and well worth a visit....a will go seek part one now lol

    Thanks Linda I know you have been a busy girl in the garden, Always nice to receive your comments, It’s just a lovely place to visit, with a chance to see a Kingfisher later in the day when the tourists and local visitors have gone home, Hope you like part one ?
