Mum and baby seem to be enjoying thereselves

A moorhen Investigating its new perch

Not sure if they will go down the weir or not ?

The same stock dove still waiting to have a drink

Another Mallard passing by

And Mrs Mallard thought she would pass by too

And now Mum and Dad Moorhen pass by

Another female Mallard

Another Mallard looking his best

He doesn't fancy a trip down the weir

To Finnish off with a grey Heron

  • It was named after a suberb in leeds, Headingley, I lived around a mile away and used to go to the ground to watch
Fred Trueman and the rest of the team. I also collected all the bottles in the ground and returned them, I cant remember how much we got for each bottle but it was a nice addition to my pocket money at the time. I was not only a cricket fan i used to watch the great Leeds United in the Don Revie Years and i used to get in the ground for free as i sold the golden goal tickets which enabled me into the ground to watch the games. Happy Times PB.
