I was hoping to see a Kingfisher and here he is
He was about 30m away and spotted him in a tree with my binoculars.
They had just cut the grass

There's a lot of that about lol... I've yet to get an Orange Tip pic this year, but have seen loads...they just won't settle
We need the hot sun to tire them out PB, Lol

.lovely photos ILR, and good to get the kingie so clear.
Your butterfly is a female orange tip, the large white often has more spots, usually two, on each wing, whereas the orange tip only has one per wing.
But, my usual disclaimer, I could be wrong.....
