It's always good to try a new birding spot, we are hoping to visit a disused quarry about 10 miles away that has been developed as a nature reserve which will be a novelty for us having been in the area for years

Lol Linda, no it’s not a secret, Anglers country park in Wakefield. I have past the road leading to the entrance lots of times and never been until yesterday with a friend who had been the week before. It’s a lovely place and I shall be going again for certain.

Places to visit and compiling a list of places to go. All good fun and I have not been disappointed.
So far so good. Good luck with the disused quarry now nature reserve. It’s surprising what is on your doorstep.
