Keep meaning to post these here but better late than never.
Had a fantastic much delayed post-retirement trip to Scotland in the early summer - here are a few wildlife highlights - admittedly few are unique to Scotland but some I'd never seen such as the crested tit and white-tailed eagle.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Fabulous photos Mike and congrats on the retirement. They are a great selection, and like a couple of the others, curious as to whereabouts you were.
