I was lucky enough to get my best ever photo of a raptor in flight earlier this year. There's a local competition I'd like to enter it into - the only problem is that they require all entries to be at least 1mb in size .......... mine is a magnificent 122kb! Is it possible to increase the size without compromising the quality?
I should mention that I have Photoshop Elements 14, which I hope will be capable of performing this miracle.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Stunning shot Clare :o)
And well done to all those that helped (Can't believe I didn't realise cropping shrunk pic size, doh!!)

A hell of a lot! Especially when it's just one bird, with only a clear sky for background. Glad you like the photo.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

thanks, this is very useful information! I can't wait to be able to use it in practice.
