April’s full moon is known as the Pink Moon, mainly because of the appearance of pink flowers around this time of year. It is also known as the Pascal Moon, from which the date for Easter is set each year.
The next full moon is 8th April around 03:35
The photo below is of a new moon from a couple of nights ago.

The full moon is Wed 8th April, around 03:35 am for most in the UK, but there will be plenty of opportunities around evening time onward to get a pic or two.
Did anyone manage to see the moon?
Here's my pink moon, snatched this morning....
Very arty Mike ... here's my attempt on an extremely hazy night unfortunately
Hazel in the Gironde estuary, France
Considering the haze you had, there's nothing wrong with your photo, the craters and seas are clear, very good in my books.

Hazel C said:Very nice both, lovely photos. Our moon was quite well hidden so had a half-decent moth trap. We also had a fabulous sunset which seem to be every day at the moment.
I think it became quite cloudy in many places overnight and early morning. I was just lucky with a gap in the clouds this morning.
Just for general info, for those early birds who have noticed three bright lights in the southern/south-eastern skies around 05:00-06:00, they are L-R Jupiter, Saturn and Mars
