We saw firsts swifts in Bratislava in Slovakia. We are happy that first swifts have already arrived.

Same thing here.6 has gone to 12+.Trying to count them is a task in itself.Went out 8.30pm-ish to watch them return to nest.Death defying speeds at nest entry.Some aborted inches from stone wall/gutter to go round again but not one crash - All with brakes fully off! Pipistrelles next door seemed fluttery and slow by comparison when they emerged later...Worra lovely day its been..ps Blackcap on next doors garage too.Didn`t know we had `em.Must start believing what my rspb paid up neighbour says!
