There was a big flock of geese flying over Newport Wetlands last night at sunset. Quite beautiful.
Plenty of house martins grabbing a pre-migration meal by us the night before.
Pretty sure there was a flock of 10 or so swans passed over work this morning at 7am ish.
Autumn it seems, is really in the air!

Hi Seymour

Hope that they have a great trip until they arrive back next year.
This time let the winter be a mild one so they arrive prompto

Saw Swallows feeding chicks (just about fledged) at Bough Beech on Saturday.

Hi Aiki,
when I joined the community last autumn everyone was talking redwings and fieldfares.
Plenty of returning winter visitors appearing already ( Green sands ) so you could start a thread this year :)
