Hi there
After receiving a automatic e-mail form the RSPB about Swifts lives at the moment
Looking at the title made me think of the situation of our Swallows, Swifts, House Martins and Sand Martins
Anyone had any sightings of them in their area/garden
I have not seen any where I stay and miss their sweet little calls
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Hi Kathy and Dave, just thought I would let you know that I have just been watching a group of about 20 swifts from my garden , calling away to each other , fabulous birds. They come here every year and i love watching them. Will try to get some photos though i am a bit usless with a camera !!!! Lolly
Hello,
We have swifts flying over our house constantly now - we are very lucky where we live and right behind our house is woodland so lots of twitching opportunities! There are also housemartins in the house over the road and every morning from about 4.30-7am they fly so low over all the gardens - my cat watches from the window in amazment!
