Hello again everyone.
Saw this duck in my home town whilst down the lake feeding them, its not in my books and the only thing i can think of is, its a cross breed??any ideas guys?
Robin
Hi,
it looks kinda vaguely familiar but doesnt fit any species I can think of- so maybe it's a common domesticated hybrid thingy :)

i thought the same as all of you, it is a lovely looking bird. There is actually 3 of them so i think they must be brothers/sisters or something. will try to get some more shots.
thanks guys!
Hello Robin,
I would suggest that this duck must be female mallard hybrid - a mallrd with perhaps a domestic duck such as a white call duck or domestic white mallard. Still a handsome looking bird.
