the top bird is really small and distant - I'm trying to enhance it. The lower photo is a male Bullfinch :)

For advice about Birding, Identification,field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
Without being able to zoom in on them it's difficult to see this first one very clearly, however I would say it is most probably a song thrush.
The second one is a beautiful male bullfinch.

Hi Jenny, Nice to hear from you again. I think the top one is a songthrush too but it is difficult to tell. That's a lovely bullfinch. Lucky you for seeing it.

thanks every one i,m trying to take 100 photos of bird in 1 year..
a friend is doing the same..
we can only take one photo of the pair.. i,e male or female.. if we take both it counts as 1..
i,m getting there very slowly.. got 4 mths left..
it great fun..once i,ve got as many as poss i,ll put them into groups with latin names etc..
then put them on a DVD..
