Green Sandpiper

John, are you sure. lol , Would the Grey Plover being showing white rump above the bars on the tail.
???
Yes it would - have just RTFM'd : )
LOL Susan - you do make me laugh!
Even though I shouldn't I will give it a guess and go with either Knot or Curlew, possibly Grey Plover going by the leg colour - greenish, although Plovers have dark legs.

Never mind the ID, I can't figure out what RTFM'd means.
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Hi John, I didn't know either, so I put it into Google and if Susan means the same as I found, she won't be able to print it.
Oh I see it now! Lol :-)
Sanderling?
Well done Sarum Bat.:)
It's juvenile Bar tailed Godwit at Titchwell last autumn . Note the small non- plover eye, the long supercilium, well streaked cap , well marked and distinctly patterned scapulars and that white rump does look as if it goes up a long way.
