I've got a lot of brushing up to do yet on my duck identification skills and just wondered if anyone could tell me what I have got in the above photograph taken at Oldmoor yesterday - sorry they're not any clearer.
Also I am pretty certain I have a male and female wigeon below but what is the black and white one? Thanks a lot.

Hi Christine, I think the back view of the duck in the middle of the first picture is a teal. Not sure what the bigger duck is. The second picture is a pair of widgeon I think and a male mallard, rather a pale one though.

Yep, I agree with T. Nice pics Christine. Ducks are so variable colour wise, it's a job with positive I D.

I agree with the others. The top picture second bird from left is a moorhen and the two greyish ones on the right I think are wigeon.
