According to our Collins bird book, we appear to have a pair of Fieldfares in our garden although it states that they tend to be wintering north of the Pennines. We live in South Devon and are wondering if anybody else has had any??

yeh we did, our pair have gone now as it has got milder
Well I was very surprised when i saw my first one eating an apple in the back garden but a couple of days ago I counted 4 together in next doors tree so I am now getting quite used to them (along with the Redwings - about 7 of them) - I am in Leicester
