Hi Andrew, your photo isn't showing at the moment. I will have a look later.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi andrew welcome to the forum.
unfortunately your photo hasn't loaded correctly!
You will need to try and upload it again.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Hi Andrew, it is showing now. It looks like a Pied Wagtail to me.
Pied Wagtail it is.
Hi Andrew
Hello and welcome to the RSPB Forum
Your Wagtail is a Pied Wagtail, and a handsome one too.
White Wagtails live in other climates and are not resident to the UK {sadly}
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Hi,
this is a winter female Pied Wagtail - it has a smoky grey back. Winter males have blackish backs.
White wagtails are seen in Britain in Spring and autumn. In autumn and winter plumage they have very pale grey backs and the black on the top of the head is restricted and sometimes absent. It's a quite distinctive plumage but not always illustrated in field guides.
