I don't know a lot......but am learning!!
or indeed a female robin - my fingers are not working properly!!!
Hi,
no its a Dunnock.
http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/d/dunnock/index.aspx
They are more than likely to be on their own and sort of skulk about underneath the feeders. They get quite confident in time :o)
Soz this is a Dunnock, sometimes wrongly called a hedge Sparrow.
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
It looks like a dunnock to me
Cheers, Linda.

lol
since 2006, is it not now, officialy, a Hedge Accentor,
Who does this and why. its just confusing : )
It's also a really naff name. What's wrong with Dunnock, for goodness sake? Smacks of people with nothing better to do with their time.....
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Claire and welcome to the RSPB Forum
A Dunnock is the bird in your picture
Love the additional names aquired by the same bird
