Hi Susan, the reason I went with Skylark
Skylark whitish over eye - Meadow Pipit pale stripe over eye
Skylark pale-centred cheeks - Meadow Pipit dark streak or patch on sides of neck
Skylark buff breast - Meadow Pipit evenly streaked chest and flanks
Sklyark white belly - Meadow Pipit olive-buff or creamy underside
Leg colour and Hind Claw resemble that of Skylark, the beak is also light were on a Meadow Pipit it is all dark.
The below photo's are what? Skylarks, Meadow Pipits or Both!

i have thease other two pictures taken of the bird they were taken on the fareham creek a tidal area
Hi Newsioux
Is this the same bird shown as your first post shows?
Still very interesting though

You also have to play the percentages- Rocky shore = skylark not meadow pipit
When thou seest an eagle, thou seest a portion of genius; lift up thy head!
I see no Lark only Pipit. The glare in the photo is misleading, perhaps. Go back to the start Susan is right.
Pipits are often found at the fresh water outlets at the shore.
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
I would agree it's a meadow pipit. The bill is too long and fine for a skylark. Also skylarks (as Buzzard's excellent photos show) usually show a bulky-bodied and small-headed look, and even when the crest is not raised you can see the slight 'overhang' at the nape. Habitat is not a problem.
Agree with female RCP for the duck.

Hi John, I think the glare is the least of my problems my eyes are blurry. I shall go to the opticians and get my EYES checked LOL
I think I have Larks on the brain, judging by my photo's. Again I can only thank those who have much better eyesight than me and far better computers.
After looking at this photo again, I would agree with the Meadow Pipit identification, well done to all those who thought Pipit.
Keep this old timer right, donations for new glasses welcome!!!!
