I uploaded these pictures of an Egret which was fishing in Ibiza, as a follow on from my previous post.
Hi BedfordPete and welcome to the forum. Brilliant photos - well caught.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi,
In case the question mark means you're not sure what species this is, the day-glo feet are the clincher - it's a little egret. Nice pics!
Welcome from me too BedfordPete. Very nice photos of the egret and the night heron in the other thread.

Hello Colin,
Thanks for confirming my thoughts, I saw this bird catching fish in the river at Santa Eularia in Ibiza. I have also seen many of them at S'Albufera near Alcudia in Mallorca. I wasn't sure how to tell the difference between the Little Egret and the Great Egret, but now I know to look at their feet.
Best wishes
Pete
Hello from me too, BedfordPete. Lovely Egret photographs. Thank you.
Welocme BedfordPete!
Great sightings and pics of the egret & night heron! What else did you see?
