Hi everyone, I have found loads of these on my cherry tree this morning and having had a quick google they resemble the Brown Tail Moth but they have two yellow spots on their head rather than red ones... could anyone identify it for me please?
Thank you...

I think it's a Vapourer caterpillar. Normally all four of the big 'brushes' on the back are yellow but looking at various photos it's not that unusual for the front two to be darker... and they do eat cherry leaves (along with lots of other plants).

I think so to. I had the moth in the house yesterday.

Awww thanks very much everyone. I thought it was a bit late for caterpillars but I guess the weather has been a bit strange this year again.
