    It's a common Nightingale outside my  Lesvos hotel window in 2008. Good solid eyering , warm brown plumage and slender pale legs , bill too thick for redstart or black red; No pale edgings to the wing coverts or obvious dark centres to tertials.

    Note the plain alula eliminating Thrush N'gale.

    We must try to catch a photos of one while in Menorca this year - we can only hope LOL
