Hi all,
This was captured earlier in the summer near Lochinver in North West Scotland.
Apologies for the poor quality - it was taken at distance. Any ideas though?
Many thanks :)
It's not a bird of prey am afraid, it's a Skua, a sea bird I believe

(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
It’s a Great Skua, or Bonxie. As stated not a bird of prey, but a skua.
Thank you!
No wonder I couldn't find it when I Googled it!
It was the sheer size of it and pattern on the wings that led to my guess.
