Would really appreciated nailing down indentification of this wader. I'm still on a steep leaning curve with birding. To help with sizing I've included the bird alongside a Redshank in the 3rd shot. Photos taken at a lagoon at Keyhaven, Hampshire. Thanks Paul
I would say it's a Little Stint but best wait to see if others agree. Good contrast in size with the Redshank.

thanks for your input TeeJay. I was thinking maybe the along the same lines, but being a relative newbie and there being so many small various waders thought I'd put it out there and see what comes back. Hopefully get some more input too.
I agree with Little Stint on the basis of the short tail, dark legs and obvious V on the mantle.
