Just saw this bird of prey in my garden being closely followed by a magpie. Could someone please help me identify it! I’m in West Sussex also.
Looks like a Buzzard to me

It's a buzzard, they often get 'escorted' by Corvids(Magpies, crows etc) who are not too keen!
