Hi,
I’m currently on holiday in Mallorca and recently visited the S’Albufera natural park. I would highly recommend the reserve, it’s a well-known site for breeding herons and egrets with a lot of areas to explore! However, I’m struggling with identification of this bird/ birds found on the outskirts of one of the pools. I’m thinking that it might be two different birds, although the angle is a bit weird, and the one on the left is the back of a purple heron? Not sure about the left one as it looks a bit like a bittern/ heron but couldn’t find anything similar online. I’ve attached the photo below (apologies for the poor image quality it’s quite magnified), any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

I know the park quite well. I wish I was out there. I'm afraid I'm struggling to make out any bird from your image. Maybe the image without as much magnification could help. I think you've muddled your left and right up as well.
