but have no idea what this sound is! Sounds like a honking? Happened every 5-10 seconds for maybe just shy of an hour…
maybe a hurt animal I was thinking? Never heard anything like it.

Hi Yashi, your sound recording is very faint on my tablet, can hear the noise but not well enough to be sure ... my only suggestions are Fox or Owl! However your post will be brought to attention on front page again and hope others can help!
