I took a walk along the shore of Loch of Lintrathen the other day, the tide was out and came across a mixed flock so, I thought I'd try and stitch them all into one photo, as I was examining each one, I came across this little brown blob, just separated from the flock of gulls. Snipe?

I agree with Wendy as it looks like a snipe; you also have another interloper in the photo !! Oystercatcher - I think !

Hi HAZY yes, there were Oystercatchers, Lapwings and Sandpipers
