Can anybody help identify slightly nondescript brown bird seen in some urban woodland in Croydon? I'm usually pretty good on the local species, but with a lot of juveniles and things around right now I can't quite put my finger on this one.
Probably a young Chiffchaff but juveniles can be a bit tricky so could be wrong.

Chiffchaff was definitely on my shortlist given what I usually see around there. Thank you.
Looks like a juvenile Chiffchaff to me - firstly you can see remains of the gape so it should be a juvenile, short primary projection and dark legs suggest Chiffchaff
