Hi, this moth was attracted to a porch light and I was wondering which species it could be? Google lens seems to identify it as a 'Brocade' moth, but I don't know which of those species it is. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
It does look quite likely for a Toadflax Brocade moth ... pics & info here

A few years back I used to find caterpillars in my garden and rear them on to get a good view of the moth before releasing back to the wild, was very interesting!

I'm leaning towards Clouded-bordered Brindle Apamea crenata but I can't make out enough detail to be 100% sure and I don't have access to my big books at the moment

Would those "big books" have a "big price-tag"?
Possibly - they were gifts that were for Christmas and Birthday from both daughters -
