Unfamiliar bird to me

Can anyone help me identify this bird seen on scrubland right on the coast between

Cooden Beach and Norman's Bay, East Sussex.

I would say about the size of a blackbird. I could see about 4 or 5 of them. Sorry about the poor photo. Thanks
