Hi all!
been an RSPB member for years but only just found this forum!
can anyone help me identify this bird, seen today in a Staffordshire garden. Obvious black chin/throat, finchy beak, light coloured super-cilium, darker cap and a russet belly. The chin makes me think lesser redpol but no obvious red on the forehead (though possible there is; bad light and this is from a video - slight suggestion of red in other frames).
Hello Kai and welcome to the forum, Google Lens suggests Linnet but I cannot vouch for it's ID ... there will be others more expert who can ID your bird!
