Hey there folks,
Hope all is good for everyone.
Does anyone know or can anyone confirm whether this is a Reed Bunting (1st winter etc) or is it by any chance a Rustic Bunting?
We were in a field inland in Norfolk this week looking for a male Rustic Bunting but this bird was in the same location and wondered if it were a female Rustic?
Any clarification would be great
Thanks all
Mark
Hi-
that's a female Reed Bunting
Put Female Rustic Bunting Winter into google for pictures :)
Rustics have a more strongly marked face pattern and a tendency to raise crown feathers into a short crest
