We saw this earlier today at SWT Trimley Marshes:
I'm pretty sure this isn't a native duck. There's green on its wing, which suggests a species of teal - but that's all I can guess at. Any help would be most appreciated.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
