Help to ID bird

The 2nd photo appears to show some yellow at the rear, so might be a Grey Wagtail, but to me the others make it look a bit like a Wheatear, but I'm not at all confident on either guess. Best advice is wait for someone wiser to confirm or correct :o)

I think the tail length says grey wagtail but please wait for another opinion ;-)

Thanks for the replies. I don't recall seeing any yellow but then I didn't have my glasses on either. It's breast seemed slightly off white, a very pale creamy colour. Lovely little bird and I've not seen a grey wagtail before. Hopefully it comes back. Thanks again.

I vote for grey wagtail as well. (one of my fave birds and most watched, which even occassionally turns up in the garden).

r.From the stock images on Google I'm not convinced it's a a grey wagtail. It was too 'white'. White or whitish was its predominant coloiur.I still favour the Northern Mocking Bird  although I know it's less than likely due to it's rarity. I've a static camera trained over the pond. Hopefully I can capture some better images and future visitors.

As PB previously mentioned you can see yellow which I have highlighted in your photo

Just because it ain't identical to stock photos don't mean it isn't a Grey Wagtail...birds feather colourings do vary sometimes to add confusion to us trying to identify them.

I think there is more chance of it being a Nothern Wheatear than a Northern Mockingbird but its neither its a Grey Waggie IMO ;-)
