Identify this Can anyone tell me what this little wader is that we saw on the edge of Astbury Mere in Cheshire today. The Mere is full of mallards, moorhens and coots but this little one seemed a bit different and was not mixing with the other birds.

I wonder if it's a juvenile moorhen Caroline...Best wait for an expert as your pics aint very clear for me ;-)
