Hey there folks,
We were wondering around the shingle and scrub of Dungeness today and spotted this little fella.
We've checked it out and can't help think that it may be a juvenile Bluethroat, which would be a first for us.
Do you guys have any idea or could you confirm or deny our theory?

Oh, wow. Given that distinctive shade of blue and what looks like the beginning of a red spot on its breast I suspect you could be right. I've never seen one before, though, I'm just comparing your photo with the pictures on my bird ID app. I would certainly wait for a second opinion.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
