This is a recording made a couple of weeks ago (mid-July) in southern Norway in mixed woodlands near a river at about 21:00. There is a robin (I think) in the background but the other sound was quite loud and I would have said came from quite high up so probably in the trees. I'm guessing it might be some kind of owl but I've had other suggestions..
