Saw this on Iona (at a distance) and thought it was a skylark - I'm pretty sure it's something else, though:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
OK, I've got a second Iona bird I'm not sure of. The beak looks a bit bunting:
