Identify this Black duck with white bib

Black duck with white bib

Just curious as to whether anyone knows the breed of this duck. Saw it this morning chilling with the mallards.

It is most likely a hybrid x. Possibly a Moscovy / Mallard. That tends to lean towards a black and white bird - it can get quite tricky sometimes to tell what the hybrids are

A feral hybrid farm duck, with *possibly* some Indian Runner and Swedish in its lineage. And quite possibly female looking at the company.

If you Google “manky mallards” you’ll be find hundreds of very different looking birds, all apparently descended from the same small flock of domesticated Anas platyrhynchos.
