Hi, I'm new to the community and live in the West Penwith area of Cornwall, surrounded by arable farm land. I saw about 5 or 6 of these long tailed passerines in my fruit bushes but only managed to get a quick (poor) photo from my phone as they didn't stay long......
Greyish head, dark banding around the head at eye level and around the neck. It had a longish tail but couldn't really see its beak. I think the photo shows the colours well but unfortunately it's the only good snap I had..
Looks like a "Lollipop" to me...Long Tailed Tit ;-)
