Hi, I've just been having a look and I think female silver pheasant (escaped from captivity obviously), everything seems to match up

Oh my god it is!! That was definitely the bird we saw. Will it survive in the wild if it was raised in captivity?? Thank you very much, my daughter will be made up with this!

Honestly I'm not too sure, they are not native to the UK (they are native to southeast asia) so it might not do very well, plus its getting to be winter which is hard on all birds (though silver pheasants apparently do well in the cold). but as long as it can find food, keep warm and avoid predators it might just be okay
I would probably have a look to see if anyone has lost a silver pheasant in the area, or if there are any zoos/collections that it might have escaped from- I don't know how fruitful this would be though
I'm glad I could help!
