Helps please - pretty seabird Black Isle Chanonry Point Scotland Oct 22

it has a green ring round it’s neck. Not sure if it been collared or is natural. Any ideas what bird this is? Thanks for your help in anticipation.

It's a male Common Eider, Wendy. The green on the neck is entirely natural. You did well to capture it in flight with just a phone.
