I took this flying over Scarborough a few weeks ago. Not sure of species

I'm definitely not sure, but I'd say wood pigeon. The light makes it look rather exotic though

Like the others, I'm not sure because of the angle and light. But I'm going to go with one of the buzzard family? Shape of wings, the white head and dark underside make it difficult to identify.

Just had another thought, maybe a Marsh Harrier?

I initially thought Jay - here's a lightened version of the photo as the dark shadows may hinder identification.

Oh! Now it looks more like a pigeon! Lol

At first glance I thought it looked a bit like a turaco . But after a fair bit of staring at my phone screen I couldn't unsee wood pigeon. Very nearly didn't reply tbh and thought I was miles off seeing the other replies.
